Strip / Dipstick Test
The most simple and economical alternative for clinical diagnostic testing. The strip is designed for rapid determination of medical conditions in urine, serum, or blood specimens. The strip is dipped into a sample for 3-5 seconds. The reaction approximately takes 5 minutes with visual development of control and test lines (usually one line for negative, and both lines for positive results). The results can be obtained in qualitative or semi-quantitative formats, depending on individual test or technique.
